Apple quietly stops selling Bose, Sonos and some Logitech gear — only Apple audio remains

Apple just made its rivals disappear — in its own sales outlet, anyhow. Atomic number 3 Bloomberg reports, the fellowship has abruptly obstructed selling Bose, Logitech, and Sonos audio products, including the popular Bose noise-canceling headphones that would well-nig certainly be a direct competitor to the headphones that Orchard apple tree has repeatedly been rumored to be ready to announce past this year.

But Google's cache shows these products were on sale as late as mid-September, if not more recently. Present's a couple examples from September 15th:

It's not the first time that Bose products have disappeared from the Apple Store, and the last time was moderately brief, just it's a bigger blow to Satyendra N. Bose now — the fellowship no longer has its own rival stores in shopping malls around the world, indeed it was relying at least in part on Apple's stores filling that office. (Bose reminds us that it still has "thousands" of others brick and mortar resellers, though.) Logitech still sells all kinds of other accessories in the Apple Store, including keyboards and cameras, merely Satyendra N. Bose and Sonos don't have got other categories to offer.

Until now, Apple seemed by and large joyous to persuade some competing accessories in its stores, and let the best production pull ahead. I wonder what changed?

Apple is widely expected to handle a hardware event later this calendar month, and rumors advise it mightiness happen on Oct 13th.
